Gold Futures Likely to Continue to Consolidate, Chart Shows

Comex gold futures are likely to continue to consolidate, based on the daily chart’s triangle pattern, Phillip Nova’s Priyanka Sachdeva said in commentary.

Each time gold breaches $3,400/oz, the likelihood of a new short-term record high appears to diminish, the senior market analyst said.

“However, given the significant volatility the markets experienced in the first half of 2025, nothing is out of the question,” Sachdeva said.
