During the month of May, discounts on the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Aura, Exter, i20, Venue, Verna, Creta, Alcazar, Tucson and Ioniq 5 have increased over those offered last month. In fact, other than the Creta Electric, Hyundai India’s entire portfolio has offers this month. Buyers can avail cash discounts, exchange/scrappage bonuses and corporate offers on the aforementioned Hyundai models, though the Hyundai Creta only gets a small Rs 5,000 scrappage bonus.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 discounts in May 2025
Up to Rs 4 lakh off
Hyundai’s premium EV, the Ioniq 5, gets a whopping Rs 4 lakh cash discount, albeit on MY2024 models. Brought in as a CKD and currently priced at Rs 46.05 lakh, the Ioniq 5 comes with a 72.6kWh battery that has an MIDC range of 631km on the older test cycle. While a facelift with a larger battery has been revealed in international markets, it is unclear when it will arrive in India.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios discounts in May 2025
Up to Rs 80,000 off
Total discounts on the Nios have increased by up to Rs 12,000 compared to last month. While CNG variants of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios have the highest discounts this month, with up to Rs 80,000 off, the petrol-MT and AMT variants get total benefits to the tune of Rs 75,000 and 60,000 respectively. The entry-level Nios Era variant has up to Rs 45,000 in discounts. Hyundai’s answer to the Maruti Swift is priced between Rs 5.98 lakh-8.62 lakh.
Hyundai Tucson discounts in May 2025
Up to Rs 80,000 off
Buyers interested in Hyundai’s flagship SUV, the Tucson, can avail benefits of up to Rs 80,000 this May, an increase of Rs 30,000 over April discounts. The Hyundai Tucson can be had with either a 186hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine, or a 156hp, 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine; petrol variants have up to Rs 70,000 in discounts this month. Neither engine gets a manual gearbox option, with the diesel sporting an 8-speed torque converter and the petrol a 6-speed torque converter. The top-spec Tucson diesel trim also offers all-wheel drive.
Hyundai Venue discounts in May 2025
Up to Rs 75,000 off
The Hyundai Venue compact SUV has benefits and discounts to the tune of Rs 75,000 on the higher-spec variants, particularly the N Line variants and others equipped with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. This represents an increase of about Rs 5,000 over April’s discounts. Lower Venue variants have up to Rs 65,000 off in the month. Priced between Rs 7.94 lakh and Rs 13.97 lakh, the Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV 3XO rival comes with petrol, turbo-petrol, diesel, and CNG engine options.
Hyundai Aura discounts in May 2025
Up to Rs 65,000 off
Hyundai’s rival to the Maruti Dzire and Honda Amaze is available with up to Rs 17,000 more in total benefits compared to last month. Hyundai Aura CNG variants get the maximum discounts, barring the more recently launched base E CNG variant, which gets up to Rs 25,000 off. Meanwhile, the petrol-MT and AMT variants get discounts up to Rs 50,000 this month. Aura prices currently range between Rs 6.54 lakh-9.11 lakh, and include the Corporate trim.
Hyundai i20 discounts in May 2025
Up to Rs 65,000 off
Hyundai i20 discounts remain the same as last month, with petrol-manual variants having up to Rs 65,000 in total benefits, while petrol-CVT and N Line variants get up to Rs 60,000 in benefits. Priced between Rs 7.04 lakh-12.56 lakh, the Maruti Baleno and Toyota Glanza rival depreciates slower than the Tata Altroz, with N Line variants commanding the highest resale prices among mass-market hatchbacks in the used car market.
Hyundai Verna discounts in May 2025
Up to Rs 65,000 off
All variants of the Hyundai Verna have Rs 65,000 in discounts this month, which is an increase of Rs 15,000 over April’s total benefits. Hyundai’s competitor to the Honda City, Skoda Slavia and Volkswagen Virtus costs Rs 11.07 lakh-17.55 lakh, and comes with 115hp 1.5-litre petrol and 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine options, which have their respective automatic gearbox options.
Hyundai Alcazar discounts in May 2025
Up to Rs 65,000 off
Some dealers still have inventory of the pre-facelift Hyundai Alcazar, which was replaced by the mid-cycle update in September last year. Those models have benefits up to Rs 65,000, which includes a Rs 30,000 direct discounts. The Alcazar facelift, meanwhile, has benefits to the tune of Rs 50,000, including just up to Rs 10,000 in cash discounts. The three-row SUV, and rival to the Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus, is currently priced between Rs 14.99 lakh-21.74 lakh, and was recently updated with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Hyundai Exter discounts in May 2025
Up to Rs 60,000 off
Discounts on the smallest Hyundai SUV, the Exter, have increased by Rs 10,000 this month to Rs 60,000, though the maximum offer is on the CNG variants; the base EX and EX(O) only have a Rs 5,000 scrappage bonus, while the other petrol variants have up to Rs 55,000 in total benefits. The Exter rivals the Tata Punch, costs between Rs 6.00 lakh and Rs 10.51 lakh, and shares its 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine with the Venue, i20, Aura and Nios.
