Music Business Worldwide continues its DSCVR Artists to Watch showcase series, featuring the talent backed by Vevo to make a major impact in 2026.
The first four from this year’s cohort were unveiled last week – this time out we put the spotlight on new wave country, UK rap, big-voiced balladry and an emerging singer-songwriter.
Ty Myers
Cynthia Todd, Senior Manager, Talent Booking: “It’s impossible to ignore the rising momentum surrounding Ty Myers. He brings a fresh energy to the genre, blending timeless storytelling with a sound that is entirely his own. Ty’s music resonates across audiences from country loyalists to Americana fans to anyone who simply loves great songwriting.
“With his undeniable growth, a devoted fan base and a standout headline tour, he’s firmly established himself as one of the most exciting emerging artists. We’re thrilled to have captured two special performances with him ahead of his upcoming stadium run with Luke Combs, which is sure to cement his place in the spotlight.”
Ty Myers: “After dropping my debut album, The Select, and headlining my tour the entirety of this year, 2026 is shaping up to be another big one for me!
“Vevo naming me a DSCVR Artist to Watch already feels like the cherry on top. Thank you Vevo for the support and all the fans who are taking this ride with me.”
LeoStayTrill
Jaqueline Lockinger, Associate Director, Programming & Editorial: “We’re thrilled to name LeoStayTrill to our Artist To Watch 2026 list. Before his 18th birthday, the London-born rapper and singer had already earned global recognition with the hit Pink Lemonade and major award nominations, quickly establishing him as one of the UK’s most exciting young talents.
“Leo’s infectious sound, which he’s been crafting since age 11, embodies London’s cultural melting pot: he expertly blends the fast-paced, vocal delivery of drill with the earworm quality of Afroswing melodies, resonating with global audiences. His live performance is all the proof you need: his star quality is undeniable.”
LeoStayTrill: “I really enjoyed working on set with the Vevo family, they were quick and efficient. Set up was crazy and I’m gassed to be one of Ones To Watch class of 2026!”
Sekou
Carl Young, Head of Music & Talent, EU: “Ever since hearing Better Man I’ve been completely obsessed with Sekou, his voice is truly unique, powerful, yet warming and totally fills the room when he performs live.
“I’ve been watching Sekou hone his craft since that initial release and can see how he’s continued to grow and I feel with his upcoming music, he’s certainly going to be a big name in 2026 and beyond! I’m delighted to have Sekou involved in this year’s DSCVR Artists To Watch, a truly special talent and a voice we need to hear more.”
Sekou: “I’m so excited Vevo’s Artists to Watch 2026 I literally can’t wait! I’ve watched them for sooooo many years seeing people like Chappell Roan and Tyla do it and seen the year they have after is amazing I can’t wait. I’m so excited and grateful to the vevo team for having me”
Audrey Hobert
Annie Shapiro, Senior Director, Talent Booking: “Since my first listen to Sue Me, I knew we had to look out for Audrey Hobert. This feeling was cemented when I had the privilege of attending her first ever public live performance in a packed Slipper Room in NYC during the summer of 2025.
“Audrey exuded a humble confidence, playing her acoustic guitar and singing to track while she brought her quick witted humor to the stage between songs. She really does it all, from bringing her unique voice to her debut album Who’s The Clown as well as the songs she’s written for other artists, to directing and editing her music videos.
“We are honored to welcome Audrey to this year’s Artists to Watch Class, and I’d bet on the fact that we’ll be following her career for a long while.”
Audrey Hobert: “I’m very honored to be included in the list of Vevo’s Artists To Watch in 2026. I’ve felt like an artist to watch since ’99 and to finally be getting the recognition 27 years later… It’s an even sweeter feeling. Vevo is so cool, all these other artists are cool, I’m feeling very lucky!”
